Getting a taxi can be confusing at times – especially because not all taxis operate in the same way in Northern Ireland

Since COVID, demand for taxis has never been greater and the supply of drivers and vehicles can struggle to keep up. This disparity can result in an increase in issues like illegal taxis, cost of fares and the safety and security of passengers and their belongings while in a taxi.

fonaCAB is the largest taxi company in Northern Ireland and on the Island of Ireland. We pride ourselves on our customer service, and while we admit that its difficult to get every journey 100% perfect, 100% of the time, we ensure that we address any concerns should they arise so that we continue to improve for every journey.

It is this dedication to improving our services that makes us constantly examine our systems and processes, and we frequently publish updates to our drivers and passengers as to how best to book and use any taxi in Northern Ireland

As part of our activities on sharing best practice, tips and advice, we now also offer an outreach service, where we would be delighted to present to your group or organisation on subjects including

• Recognising different taxi types and why this affects how you book and how much you pay.
• Tips and guidance for booking a taxi, especially during busy periods.
• Staying safe when using a taxi.
• Things to look out for, and things to avoid when travelling by taxi.
• Experienced a problem? How to resolve the issue and what to do if you can’t get it addressed.

We can tailor a presentation to your needs and will adapt it based on the age and size of your group, as well as the amount of time you have available

Presentations are free of charge, and can be delivered either at your location, or we’re always delighted to have visitors at our Knock Road Belfast Offices

We welcome all groups; however, these sessions are best suited to ages 16 and over as younger children travelling present a different range of challenges
